BREAKING NEWS: Huge parts of the internet are down this evening

International: after an outage at one of the world’s leading Cloud storage services, “Fastly”. The company says it is investigating the source of the problem and hopes to restore websites soon.

The outage has affected Amazon, Reddit, CNN, The New York Times, Bloomberg, The Financial Times, and even some government websites. The BBC is reporting that the U.K government website, gov.uk, is also down. Millions of internet users are seeing “Error 503 Service Unavailable" when trying to reach their favourite sites.

Fastly has been reported as saying it is investigating problems with its content delivery network.
